F.A.Q

Do you have a question that is not listed below? Feel free to contact us HERE!

  • Not sure if you're registered? Need to reprint your tickets?
Check to see if you're registered for this year or reprint your tickets. All you need is the email address you used to register or the credit card used: - CLICK HERE -
  • May I pick up registration packets for others? Can others pick up my packet for me?
Yes... However, please be sure that you are in good communication with your friends, so that they know you are picking up for them!
  • Is there a time limit on the run?
    - If you are running the 2 mile, your estimated finish time should be within 40 minutes (estimated 20 minute/mile) - If you are doing the 4 mile, your estimated finish time should be within 1 hr and 20 minutes (estimated 20 minute/mile) Technically, there is not a time limit. However, just know that if you finish after the above listed times, you may endure a different experience at the finish line and on course, as our team will begin taking down course markings, etc.
  • Are strollers and wagons allowed?
Yes! Strollers are welcome and commonly sighted at The Pilgrimage Run. We ask that you please respect others around you during the run/walk. (ie. don't go running anybody over.)
  • Is there a charity benefit for this run?
Absolutely! Check out the main reason for this event on the 'Purpose' page. Do you have any nominations?
  • Is the Pilgrimage Run timed?
We do have a very nice timing clock at the start and finish line for you to track your own time. And the 4 mile run will also be officially chip timed. The 2 mile run will not be offically timed. Being that this is a HUGE family tradition, we like to keep it focused on the purpose - GIVING THANKS, having a ton of fun, making the run a great experience, and less about competition.
  • Are there awards for the run?
Everybody who participates in the 2 MILE and 4 MILE will receive a super comfy, high end shirt. (One that you'll actually want to wear... in fact, you'll probably never want to take it off it's so soft) There are not awards for the 4Mile timed run, as we truly want to keep focus on what this event is really about!
  • What should I wear for the run?
We strongly encourage dressing to the occasion! (Thanksgiving Day that is!) November in Colorado can do many things. We recommend checking the weather before you head out in order to dress properly. See the weather forecast to the right!
  • Are Dogs Allowed?
Dogs are allowed to run with you during the race. We do ask that they are on a leash at all times and you clean up after them. Also, we ask that if you are running with your pet that you start near the back of the start line.
  • What happens if it rains? Or snows?
The event will still go on! Unless there is weather that puts our runners, volunteers, and event staff in physical danger, we'll still be on for a great time! If the event is cancelled prior to event day due to unsafe weather or other circumstances out of our control, your registration will be good for next years event.
